William J. (Bill) Shaw maintains a practice in the areas of commercial and residential finance, real estate, and banking and finance, including banking and credit union law, corporate law, governance, and tax planning and implementation. He regularly acts for individuals, small businesses, large corporations and institutions.

He also works in the areas of banking and finance, including banking and credit union law, corporate law, governance, and tax planning and implementation. Bill has acted for a broad variety of clients including individuals, small businesses, large corporations and institutions.
Bill has been a member of condominium consultation groups providing information and feedback to Information Services Corporation and Saskatchewan Justice. He is a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Saskatoon and Region Home Builders’ Association. Bill was also involved in the development and preparation of iterations of the Credit Union Act and Co-operative Associations Act. He participated in regulatory hearings when the Public Utilities Review Board was operating.
Bill has volunteered for over three decades locally, nationally and internationally in the sport of water polo. In 2005, the Aquatic Federation of Canada placed Bill on the President’s Honour Roll and in 2008 he was awarded the Paragon Award for Water Polo at the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
