Robert maintains a general litigation practice. His primary focus is in the area of family law. He has experience in civil and criminal litigation. He also carries on a residential real-estate practice. Robert has appeared before all levels of Court in Saskatchewan. He strives to provide practical strategies and solutions to assist his clients in navigating and understanding the court system.
Robert is experienced in negotiating and drafting separation, parenting, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. He has extensive litigation experience in all types of family law matters, including parenting, child support, spousal support, child protection matters, and the division of property. He also represents clients involved in disputes over farming operations and business/corporate matters. Robert recognizes that family law disputes can be highly stressful, life changing events. He is committed to protecting his client’s interests during these difficult times.
Robert has represented clients in a variety of forums including hearings, trials and actions in Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench and the Court of Appeal.
Robert was born and raised in Southeast Saskatchewan. Robert graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. He joined McDougall Gauley as an associate in 2019 after four years of practice with a local firm.
