Mackinley Sim is an associate in the firm’s Regina office.
Mackinley joined the McDougall Gauley team in 2022 as an associate lawyer. Prior to joining the firm, Mackinley served as a Law Clerk at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan where he clerked for Chief Justice Robert Richards, Justice Robert Leurer, and Justice Jacelyn Ryan-Froslie.
Mackinley earned his Juris Doctor with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. During law school, Mackinley was an Editor and subsequently a Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review. He also completed two volunteer placements with Pro Bono Student Canada.
Mackinley was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan.
