Brandon Hicks is a corporate partner in the Regina office. His practice revolves around helping businesses find solutions.
Brandon Hicks is the leader of the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Law Team and a member of the Business Law Team. His sphere of practice spans a number of industries and transaction areas.
His practice has developed to include a wide range of business related matters and issues, from general copyright advising to complicated licensing agreements and the purchase and sale of businesses. Brandon also provides advice related to brand protection and the registration of trademarks.
Brandon also works closely with organizations concerned with the development, management, and governance of condominiums. In the initial construction and development stages, Brandon provides pointed and cogent advice and guidance to developers to navigate the complex regulatory requirements placed upon developers. Post-construction he will often continue with the same condominium projects, providing advice to the Board ranging from governance issues to fee collections.
In the community, Brandon takes and active and complimentary role to his practice. He is the Vice-President of the South Saskatchewan chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute. In January of 2021 he was appointed by the City of Regina to a three year term as a member of the Development Appeals Board.
