An article co-authored by William Lane entitled “The Judgments of the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, 2019 and 2020” has been published in Volume 85(1) of the Saskatchewan Law Review (the “Law Review”). This article is the latest in the Law Review’s long-running series of articles analyzing the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan’s annual output. William also co-authored “The Judgments of the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, 2018”, published in a previous edition of the Law Review.
William’s article summarizes and analyzes all 284 decisions of the Court of Appeal that were issued by the Court of Appeal in 2019 and 2020, with a particular focus on the Court’s most complex and significant decisions.
The Law Review is published semi-annually by the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. The Law Review has approximately 1,800 subscribers, including both practicing and academic members of the legal profession, as well as libraries in Canada and other countries. The Law Review provides a vehicle for the publication of researched articles and comments authored by practicing and academic members of the legal profession, and by law students and other persons interested in analyzing subject matter of concern to lawyers.
William is a partner in McDougall Gauley’s Regina office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, construction disputes, and regulatory matters. He has appeared before both the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan and the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan.
