McDougall Gauley LLP's Nancy Hopkins, K.C. receives Institute of Corporate Director's 2024 Fellowship Award

McDougall Gauley LLP's Nancy Hopkins, K.C. has been announced as a recipient of the Institute of Corporate Directors' (ICD) 2024 Fellowship Award.

The ICD Fellowship designation (F.ICD), the highest distinction for directors in Canada, is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Canadian organizations through exceptional governance leadership in the boardroom. Fellows are nominated by their peers and conferred by a Selection Committee composed of past Fellows of the ICD.

The ICD is a not-for-profit, member-based organization representing Canadian directors and boards across the for-profit, not-for-profit and Crown sectors. As Canada's largest director community, the ICD creates forums for dialogue, hosts networking opportunities and provides access to world-class resources.

Nancy is a senior business lawyer with emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, complex contracts and corporate governance. She is a member of the board of the Canada West Foundation and chairs the board of Arthritis Society Canada. Among her past board service, Nancy served on the boards of the University of Saskatchewan, Cameco Corporation (CCO on the TSX; CCJ on the NYSE), CPA Canada, and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
