McDougall Gauley LLP's Erin M.S. Kleisinger, K.C. has been elected President of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada (the "Federation") for 2023-2024. The Federation is a national association of the 14 law societies, mandated to regulate Canada’s legal profession in the public interest and facilitate collaboration between the law societies.

Erin is a partner at McDougall Gauley's Regina location and has a varied commercial and litigation practice. She focuses on post-secondary institutions and privacy law, and acts as counsel to the University of Regina. Erin has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of Banking and Finance Law, Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law, and Education. She is a former Bencher and Past-President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, sits on a number of Law Society committees, and is the Saskatchewan Trial Advocacy Skills Workshop's Chair.
