McDougall Gauley is proud to announce the addition of four new lawyers to the firm. After articling with the firm, Stephen Barrington-Foote, Alexander Ferwerda, Megan Ripplinger, and Serena Saini were called to the bar in May and June of 2024.
Stephen B. Barrington-Foote (Regina) maintains a practice focused on civil and commercial litigation, as well as construction disputes. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan. In his free time, Stephen is an avid golfer and dedicated cat father.
Alexander Ferwerda (Saskatoon) achieved his Bachelor of Political Studies (Honours) and Juris Doctor through the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, Alexander volunteered with numerous groups and clubs, including Chess Club and the Law Run Club. He maintains a general practice with a focus on civil, commercial and criminal litigation.
Megan C. Ripplinger (Regina) maintains a broad litigation practice, with a focus on family law. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Great Distinction) and Juris Doctor (Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, Megan was an Editor and subsequently Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review.
Serena Saini (Saskatoon) maintains a broad practice in the areas of corporate commercial law and general litigation. She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours and Great Distinction) and Juris Doctor (Distinction) through the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, Serena was an Editor on the Saskatchewan Law Review, and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Law Students’ Association.
