The female lawyers and support staff at McDougall Gauley LLP participated in a week-long clothing drive competition between their Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw offices to see how many clothes and accessories they could raise for Dress for Success Saskatoon & Regina. In a hard-fought battle the three offices competed to be the office that was able to bring in the most items. More than 1050 items were presented to Dress for Success from McDougall Gauley.
“In our communities, an economically disadvantaged woman may not have the financial means to purchase a new suit she might need for a job interview,” said Heather Laing Q.C., partner at McDougall Gauley. “Dress for Success can assist her by providing a professional outfit which is one less barrier for her to overcome in joining the workforce. The women at McDougall Gauley are proud to support this organization in both cities.”
Dress for Success Regina and Saskatoon promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
