McDougall Gauley LLP is proud to announce Holli A. Kuski Bassett has been appointed to the Court of King's Bench in Regina.
During her time with McDougall Gauley, Justice Kuski Bassett was a partner in the firm's Regina office, where she maintained a broad litigation practice. Her practice focused on civil and commercial disputes in many areas of law, including wills and estates, land ownership, breaches of contract and negligence, and director liability and shareholder remedies.
Justice Kuski Bassett was an experienced advocate in all levels of the Saskatchewan courts. She was recognized by Best Lawyers™ in Canada for her work in Insurance Law and Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
Justice Kuski Bassett received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, with Great Distinction, and was awarded the Bronze Medal for her academic performance. She was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2009.
Justice Kuski Bassett has served in numerous positions with the Canadian Bar Association, most recently serving as Treasurer, and the Regina Bar Association. She worked on the Board of Directors for FASD Network (2021) and the University of Saskatchewan College of Law Advisory Committee (2013-2019). She also served on various committees at the firm, and was a mentor and friend to many of her colleagues.
