Each year the Rotary Club of Saskatoon Nutana partners with Meewasin in the Nobel Peace Laureate Recognition Program.
The official dedication of the brick took place Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Rotary Peace Plaza (Rotary Park) during this year's observance of the International Day of Peace.
The brick bears the names of 2011 Nobel Peace Laureates - Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkol Karman. Awarded "for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women's rights to full participation in peace-building work"
