McDougall Gauley LLP's Lauren J. Wihak, K.C. will be a panelist at The Advocates' Society's (TAS) Advocacy Hour: Perfecting Your Pitch at the Court of Appeal on February 25, 2025.
This program will feature advice from experienced appellate litigators and appellate judges on perfecting advocacy skills in the Court of Appeal. TAS is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing professional development and networking for lawyers across Canada.
Lauren is a partner at McDougall Gauley, with a practice that is increasingly focusing on appeals. Lauren frequently appears in the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, and has also appeared before appellate courts in Manitoba and British Columbia, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. She has spoken and presented at numerous conferences and seminars on appellate advocacy across Canada, and has taught Appellate Advocacy & Principles at the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan since 2018.
Lauren brings her considerable experience in appellate practice, procedure and theory to her leadership of McDougall Gauley’s Appellate Advocacy Practice group.
