The Journal article profiles Gord’s Finnish background, his close relationships with his family and community, and his numerous accolades and recognitions earned during his more than fifty years at the Saskatchewan bar (all of which have been spent with McDougall Gauley or its predecessors), including being three times recognized by Benchmark Canada as Litigator of the Year in Saskatchewan, and being designated Honorary Counsel of Finland for Saskatchewan and appointed Knight (First Class) of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.
The Journal article also features several of Gord’s notable matters before the courts, and kind remarks about Gord from his family, friends and peers in the profession.
Gord is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Gord’s practice focuses on civil litigation in all areas of law including class actions, corporate and commercial litigation, and commercial insurance litigation. He has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for his litigation work.
