McDougall Gauley's Erin M.S. Kleisinger, K.C. has been nominated to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments.
The Independent Judicial Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments is an independent, non-partisan body, consisting of eight members tasked with providing non-binding recommendations to the Prime Minister on judicial appointments to the Supreme Court of Canada. Erin was nominated to join the Advisory Board by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Erin is a partner with a varied practice, including commercial, banking, education, litigation, insolvency, and labour and employment matters. She was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2015. She is an executive member of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada as Second Vice-President. Erin is a former Bencher and Past-President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
