Congratulations to Erin Kleisinger for being appointed to the Law Society of Saskatchewan as a Bencher. The Law Society governs the legal profession by upholding high standards of competence and integrity in the interest of the public. The Law Society is governed by a Board of Directors that uses the traditional term "Bencher" to describe its board. Eighteen Benchers are elected by lawyers from nine constituencies across the province. The remaining Benchers are appointed by legislation.
Erin has been a lawyer with McDougall Gauley since 1993 and joined the partnership in 1999. Erin's commercial practice focuses on secured transactions and national and international financings. She provides representation for a number of banks and financial institutions with respect to both lending and realization, while also acting for entrepreneurs in the structuring of their business arrangements.
Erin is very active in the community, most recently sitting on the 2013 Tournament Committee for the CIS Women's Basketball Championship held in Regina.
Congratulations to Erin on this prestigious appointment.
