Amanda “Crazy Legs” Quayle is putting on her boxing gloves to help raise funds for the Regina Palliative Care Inc. in the "Kiss the Canvas" event.
Regina Palliative Care provides comfort, support and guidance to thousands of families as their loved ones have faced the final stage of life. Regina Palliative Care also operates the Greystone Bereavement Centre; a place where children, teens, women and men can go for professional counseling when they are experiencing painful grief associated with losing a loved one. All of the individual and group counseling is provided free of charge. No one is turned away.
The money raised from Kiss the Canvas will be used:
- to provide training and education to the staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care Services team;
- to purchase equipment for the Palliative Care Unit of the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region; and
- to provide support to the Greystone Bereavement Centre so that anyone who wants professional counselling can access it free of charge.
McDougall Gauley LLP encourages all lawyers and staff to support charity and we are proud of Amanda for 'taking one for the team'.
Good luck Amanda!
