It is rare in 2017 to find anyone who has worked more than two or three years at any given workplace. McDougall Gauley LLP is lucky to have many lawyers and support staff who have called McDougall Gauley ‘home’ for ten or more years.
This past week we celebrated the longstanding career of one such employee, Louise Muller.
It seems to me that it can’t possibly be 50 years, but I guess it is so. When I started working with what was Francis Gauley Dierker & Dahlem in 1967, there were I believe seven lawyers and probably the same number of assistants.
After many years of court reporting and word processing she began working with articling students, many different lawyers, and ultimately with David E. (Tom) Gauley, C.M., Q.C., Hartmut (Harry) Dahlem, Q.C., and Rex M. Beaton. Louise still works with Rex in addition to Joseph J. Dierker, Q.C.
Over the years, the firm has expanded to become one of the largest in Saskatchewan, with offices in Regina and Saskatoon. During this time Louise has been a mentor to many staff members, and remains a positive influence and a friend to many.
It’s been very good for me. It’s been a great ride.
Please join us in congratulating Louise on such a significant milestone.
