McDougall Gauley LLP is committed to protecting the health and welfare of our people, our clients and the community.
With COVID-19’s escalating impact around the world, and particularly in Canada, we have taken steps to protect the health and safety of firm members, ensure legal services to clients are uninterrupted; and implement protocols which allow us to adapt as circumstances continue to rapidly evolve.
Our offices in Regina and Saskatoon remain open and our Business Continuity Plan is in place. Our management, IT and accounting departments have and continue to ensure that all our critical systems are operating effectively in order that we may continue to serve our clients fully and efficiently, and these systems continue to be monitored and modified on an ongoing basis.
In response to advice from government and health organizations, we have implemented proactive measures including:
- Employing enhanced cleaning, sanitization and hygienic practices in our offices;
- Implementing policies and self-isolation for personnel who may become ill or are at risk of being exposed to the virus;
- Implementing policies for firm members working remotely, social distancing and the use of technology for meetings, including video and teleconferences; and
- Cancelling or restricting all non-essential firm and personal travel and firm events.
We understand the impact that COVID-19 is having on our clients and the markets in which they operate. We remain focused on providing you with responsive, high quality service for all of your legal and business needs. Our broad expertise can help you navigate the implications of COVID-19 and manage the new risks and developments it presents.
